We specialize in full house remodels with a focus on the kitchen and baths. We have a beautiful and historic showroom located on Main Street in Manchester, Vermont. We offer full general contracting and project management in addition to our award winning design services. We offer direct sales for cabinetry, stone, tile, hardware, plumbing fixtures, fabrics, draperies, flooring, and much more.
We are also happy to work with your contractor or builder and supply high quality materials and detailed installation plans.
In 2020, Northshire Living was selected as the Vermont Small Business Administration’s Veteran Owned Business of the Year.
Chris & Niki Conte
Husband & wife business owners, they founded Northshire Living in 2017 with a desire to offer complete turn key, stress free, remodeling & interiors with style for homeowners in the Northshire region.
Niki is Creative Director and Principal Designer at Northshire Living. She studied Sculpture at Massachusetts College of Art & Design with a focus on furniture design and has over 15 years in the design industry. She was selected for The National Kitchen & Bath Association’s “30 Under 30” program in 2018. In 2024 she was selected as one of the National Kitchen and Bath Association’s “Design Hounds”, helping set the standard for the industry nation wide.
Chris is our Structural Designer and Project Manager. A true autodidact and alumni of the Yestermorrow Design/Build School in northern Vermont, Chris works with Sketchup and his full woodshop to make your dreams come alive. Chris is also the vice-commander of Manchester’s VFW, a veteran of Afghanistan and the US Army’s 10th Mountain Division.
Ann Nash
Annie is our Designer at Northshire Living. Another graduate of the Yestermorrow Design School, she also received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Naropa University. Annie is a native of Austin, Texas, and now resides in Pawlet, fixing up her own 1st home with her husband, Sooner, chocolate lab, Lola, and cat, Taka.
Robert Brown
Bob is our longest serving crew member; a master carpenter and tiler, with over 25 years of experience. He is a life long resident of Southern Vermont and resides in Arlington with his two daughters and long-time girlfriend.
Zachary Clippinger
Zach is one of our amazing carpenters and crew members, he is a veteran of United States Marine Corp, and resides in New York with his wife and son.
Elliott Granger
Elliott is another star carpenter and crew member. He formally ran his own successful construction company before coming on board with our crew. He lives in New York, with his wife and son.
Jack Corrow
Jack is our jack-of-all trades. An excellent carpenter, tiler, drywaller, and painter. He lives in Bennington, VT, with his wife and kids.
We are happy to work all around Southern Vermont, with a primary focus in Manchester, Dorset, Winhall, Bondville, Stratton, Londonderry, Peru, Bromley, Landgrove, Sunderland, Arlington, Rupert, Pawlet, and Danby.
